  • Those who have completed 'Digital and Agile: the foundations' course and want to introduce Agile ways of working to a team they are leading.
  • Those who are new to a team who have attended this course and implemented Agile ways of working.

This course is free for devolved Welsh public sector organisations and is fully funded by Welsh Government.

What we will cover

Our course will:

  • give a recap of the Agile values and principles 
  • discuss how to prioritise workloads and work in a user-centred way
  • show you how to plan sprint cycles
  • discuss how to create a supportive working environment for people to do their best work
  • give tips on how to take the first steps in implementing Agile ways of working within a team

Course outcomes 

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • explain the difference between a project and product mindset and how this links with different approaches (such as Waterfall and Agile)
  • understand the importance of creating a service vision to define your roadmap, list of needs and tasks
  • assess the effectiveness of sprint cycles 
  • explain the differences between different Agile delivery frameworks
  • understand the roles and responsibilities of different people within a multidisciplinary team

How you will learn

We ask all participants to complete our Digital and Agile: the foundations course first.

  • Currently delivered in English.
  • Currently delivered live on Microsoft Teams.
  • Over 2 days (14 hours).
  • 12 people in each session.
  • Group tasks to help you in your learning.
