To drive digital transformation effectively, it's important to have individuals with a deep understanding of user-centred design.

The user-centred design apprenticeship programme is a collaborative effort that brings together the expertise of CDPS, Agored Cymru, and Gower College Swansea.

This programme represents a significant opportunity for Welsh organisations to access training in user-centred design and develop this critical skill set in-house.

Funded by Swansea Bay City Deal

The development of the apprenticeship programme was made possible through funding from the Swansea Bay City Deal. This investment underscores the commitment to fostering innovation and economic growth in the region by equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in the ever-evolving field of user-centred design. This apprenticeship is delivered remotely and therefore available on a national scale across Wales.

Fully funded course by Welsh Government

The college training within the apprenticeship programme is also fully funded by the Welsh Government, meaning organisations will only need to fund the hiring of an individual and factor in college days throughout their apprenticeship.

Flexible start dates

One of the many benefits of the program is its flexibility. With start dates available throughout the year, learners can begin their apprenticeship journey at a time that suits them best. Whether you're ready to dive in immediately or prefer to plan, we've got you covered.

This program opens pathways to various career opportunities, including roles in interaction design, user research, content design, service design, and user experience and design.
