The User Research in Wales community is member-led and exists to:

  • connect people across public services in Wales that are interested in or practicing user research
  • build and support the practice of user research in Welsh public services
  • champion the importance of user research to deliver and design better public services
  • develop user research knowledge and skills within public services in Wales
  • discuss, challenge and improve the way user research is carried out in public services in Wales

Who the community is for

You don’t have to be in a user researcher role to join our community.

We welcome anyone who’s interested in or doing user research activities in Wales.

How we meet

We host monthly remote community sessions on Microsoft Teams on the last week of every month.

We run varied sessions including presentations, workshops and problem-solving clinics. We chat all things user research, share knowledge, support each other, and collaborate on solving real user research issues.

We hold in-person meet-ups twice a year to network and collaborate.

How to get involved

The community is voluntary and is always open to new members.

We will send you an invite by email to join our community on Microsoft Teams. We look forward to seeing you there!
