John-Mark (JM) Frost, Samina Ali and Andrea Gale will continue their service on the Board, with JM taking on the role of interim Chair.
JM, who has served on the Board for three years and has chaired the Audit and Risk Committee since 2024, has extensive expertise in transformation and governance. Following a 15-year career in the Civil Service as Director of Transformation Delivery at Companies House, he now serves as a senior director at the BBC, responsible for implementing their Workplace Culture Review.
Speaking about his appointment, JM said:
As we embark on the next phase of CDPS, I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to champion digital services that truly put users at their heart. In today's challenging economic climate, well-designed digital services offer the dual benefit of improving people's experiences while delivering essential efficiencies.
Having grown up in rural West Wales, I am very aware that good digital services aren't just convenient. For many Welsh communities, they're essential bridges to opportunity, healthcare, education and government services.
Digital transformation isn't just about technology. It's about creating services that work for everyone, wherever they are in Wales. The Digital Service Standard for Wales provides us with a robust framework to ensure services are designed around people's actual needs rather than organisational structures.
It is my privilege to take on the role of Chair for CDPS, an organisation that champions user-centred digital approaches and supports our public sector to deliver better, more accessible services for all citizens across Wales.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Sharon and Ben for their valuable guidance and strategic direction over the past three years. Their contributions have been instrumental in establishing CDPS as a key player in digital transformation across Wales.
