We are hosting a show and tell for organisations to learn more about the user-centred design (UCD) apprenticeship scheme funded by Swansea Bay City Deal and delivered by Gower College in partnership with CDPS.
In this scheme, three apprentices' will gain academic qualifications in UCD via Gower college whilst also gaining on the job training at CDPS.
As this is a brand new apprenticeship, there is flexibility to develop the scheme in a way that benefits the wider Welsh public sector and impacts the skills shortage within digital roles in Wales. Our hope is to develop the scheme into a shared apprentice programme. This will ensure each apprentice gains valuable knowledge from across health, local authorities and centralised government.
