Who this community is for
- Interaction designers.
- UX designers.
- Web designers.
- Graphic designers.
- Anyone doing digital design work.
In a typical meeting, we might:
- share our recent design work
- have a guest speaker to talk about a specialist topic or project
- discuss common issues we are facing
The UX, UI and interaction design guide tells you about the types of design and the role that they play when it comes to developing services or products. These are the kinds of things we talk about.
How we meet
The group meets on Microsoft Teams on the last Thursday of every month at 11am, but sometimes this changes based on the availability of the guest speaker.
When you join, you'll be invited to Basecamp where we keep in touch between meetings to share ideas, feedback and things we’ve found.
Culture
Members of the community should always treat each other with respect and be:
- kind
- understanding
- constructive
- helpful
- supportive
We don’t record our regular virtual meetings.
It is a safe space for designers to openly discuss their challenges. Members should respect that others may be sharing problems in confidence.
If we choose, as a community, to share what we have been discussing, we won’t talk about who said what.
