We are delighted that the Digital Accessibility Centre will be delivering a one-day training course (funded by CDPS) on digital accessibility, designed for digital practitioners who create and deliver accessible front-end services.
Through practical demonstrations and real-world examples, you will gain a solid understanding of web accessibility principles, assistive technologies, and how to implement accessibility requirements when creating content.
What we will cover
- An introduction to web accessibility and its impact on users
- How assistive technology interacts with digital content
- A live screen reader demonstration
- Best practices for creating accessible content, including alt text, headings, and multimedia considerations
- The importance of inclusive design and compliance with WCAG guidelines
This hands-on training is limited to 10 participants per session, so early registration is recommended.
