Services Week 2025 – Wednesday 19 March, 1.30pm to 2pm, Online (Microsoft Teams)
Long waiting times, complex processes, and a lack of clear information – these are just some of the challenges faced by neurodivergent people waiting for assessments. Over the past year, CDPS has been working with the Welsh Government’s neurodivergence and learning disabilities team to explore how digital tools could improve support, streamline processes, and reduce inefficiencies in the system.
In this show and tell for Services Week, our Delivery Manager, Poppy Evans, will share what we learned from working with neurodivergent individuals, families, and professionals, and how their experiences shaped the development of potential digital solutions.
What we’ll cover:
- the key challenges faced by people waiting for neurodivergence assessments
- insights from our user research with individuals, families, and professionals
- ideas we explored, including a digital tool for gathering information more efficiently
- where we go next, and how you can get involved
