Register for Data science series: Using artificial intelligence to assist in content design

You are booking for
12pm 16 April 2025

Join us to hear about an exciting project on applying artificial intelligence (Large Language Models) to content design. This webinar will be presented by Joe Lewis from the Welsh Government Data Science Unit.

The session will focus on a proof-of-concept tool that colleagues without content design experience can use to edit their work to get a better first draft.

To build the tool, the team have worked with internal content design professionals. The tool aims to allow them to focus their experience on more challenging problems. Meanwhile, AI works to catch more common errors and edits.

This webinar will cover:

  • The project scope and aims
  • Background on AI in the content design and accessibility space
  • The team's approach. This includes a review of automated assessment of accessibility and the metrics used to assess performance
  • The best prompts, models and techniques to create better first drafts of content

The webinar will also include a demonstration of the AI Content Design Assistant, Dylun. We will look at how Dylun can help apply Welsh Government style guidance and accessibility practice through AI and automation.

If you are interested in learning more ahead of the session an introductory blog is available on the Welsh Government Digital and Data Blog.
