Register for User Research in Wales community event – Cardiff

You are booking for
Thursday 11th of December 2025

Hi All,

In December, when the days get shorter and colder, there is still something magic which makes it the most wonderful time of the year!

That’s right, it’s time for our final User research community meeting of the year, and as is tradition, we're inviting you to join us in-person!

We'll be meeting on the Thursday 11th of December 2025 at Cardiff and Vale college. Arrive for coffee and a catchup at 9:30am ready for a 10am start. We’ll break for an hour's lunch at midday, and close at 4pm.

The key themes we’d like to explore are building on our strengths as user researchers, improving our skills, and reflecting on our work over the year.

When we last met in-person as a community back in June, one of our core and founding community members Gruffydd Weston shared his perspective on what makes our community events so special.

If you have any suggestions for activities, themes, or reflections you’d like us to incorporate into the agenda, we’d love to hear from you! Please email andrew.arrowsmith@digitalpublicservices.gov.wales

To get a flavour of what to expect, here’s what we covered earlier in the summer

We will be providing coffee, biscuits, and a finger-buffet lunch to keep us energised. We’ll do our best to put on a good spread, but please consider supplementing this with your own snacks or packed lunch to ensure you have something that is satisfying. Please also specify in the registration form if you have any dietary requirements which we can pass on to our caterer.

It’s been a great year so far for our community, and we’re looking forwarding to ending it with a great day.

Sign up below to reserve your place so we can confirm numbers and ensure we meet any dietary and accessibility needs you have.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Andrew Arrowsmith, Senior User Researcher at CDPS - Community Lead
