Overview
Service Design Cymru is a space for people working on user-centred design in the Welsh public sector to connect, share, and learn together.
Our members include:
- service designers
- interaction and UX designers
- anyone working in designing public services
We welcome people at all levels of experience.
What we do
We meet every month on Microsoft Teams:
Second Wednesday of the month, 11am to 12pm.
At each session, we usually:
- share work or practice
- hear from a guest speaker
- talk about challenges or opportunities
- offer help and support each other
The sessions are informal and optional. You’re welcome to just listen in.
We don’t record meetings as we want people to feel safe and supported to speak openly.
Please respect others’ confidentiality and don’t name individuals when sharing discussions more widely.
Between sessions, we use Basecamp to stay in touch, ask questions, and share ideas.
What we value
We hope to create a kind, constructive, and inclusive space where members feel safe to share challenges and work-in-progress.
For that reason, we ask everyone to be:
- respectful
- supportive
- helpful
- understanding
