CDPS is funded by the Welsh Government to support the delivery of the Digital Strategy for Wales. Our advice, guidance on standards, governance and strategic input is provided free of charge, along with our events and training courses for devolved public service providers.

For our ‘design and improve digital public services’ work, we don’t charge where we see significant potential to deliver benefits, and where no dedicated funding is otherwise available.

This applies particularly to projects which allow CDPS to showcase best practice across a range of processes and tools (such as service assessment and mapping, IT sustainability, data improvements, automation and user-centred design delivery).

Where dedicated funding is available, or can be obtained, we have an agreed charging model based on a rate card.

Charging arrangements will be discussed and clarified with individual partners and expressed in a tailored partnership agreement. Charging for some of our work will allow CDPS to scale its services so more organisations and teams can benefit.
