Yes, I've used Amazon to buy things that probably I can't get in the supermarket or close to me. Things that I want to get quickly. I use Prime to get it delivered next day. Sometimes, things that are kind of a bit specific that you would have to go to a particular shop that you might not have locally. But it’s generally, for ease and speed that I’ve used it.
Yes, so I do my weekly shopping online to get it delivered to the house. I started when I had small children, and I didn’t want to drag them to an actual supermarket. So, I used online shopping because it's easy; I could pick a time, and have it delivered when it worked for me, and I could go back and forth and add things in as I needed it. So again, for ease and suiting my lifestyle.
So no, I haven’t booked an online GP appointment because it doesn’t exist with my GP surgery, but I wish it did. I think it would be much easier to book in with a doctor or nurse or select somebody within the GP practice that you wanted to see. At the moment, it’s kind of like queuing, phoning eighteen times, and then having to get a phone call back, which normally falls when you’re in the middle of a work call or meeting, so you can’t take it. So yeah, I do think there are benefits to being able to book one online.
Ten years seems a really long time ago, but I don’t think it actually was that long ago. So, I think I would have used online shopping, weekly shop because it was when my daughter was little, that was definitely something that I used. Amazon, I perhaps didn’t use as much, but it’s definitely something I kind of use more now. Yeah, so I think they’re things I did use ten years ago but now they’re much more mainstream and used all the time.

I use Amazon quite frequently. I use it for all sorts of things. The first thing that comes to mind is if there’s a bit more of a speciality product that I can’t easily get from a nearby shop. I don’t drive, so I would order that from Amazon. A lot of DIY going on in my life right now, so I’ll order a lot of DIY products that I need and tools from Amazon because it just makes my life a lot easier. I try not to buy everything from Amazon, because I don’t think that’s great for the world. But it is so convenient, so I do tend to use it quite frequently.
I find it quite hard to fit the big shop in my day-to-day or my weekly life working full-time. So, I do order an online shop about once a month, and I just find that like very convenient. Again, I don’t drive, so it’s just very easy for it to just appear at my door. It’s relatively affordable as well, to get groceries delivered, so it’s really accessible for me.
Yeah, my GP, they ask you to call in the morning if you want an appointment and that can be really inconvenient because it doesn’t really, it doesn’t always work around my schedule. I would really like it if there was a way to book online. Especially if it meant you didn’t have to wait in those long queues on the phone line. I do order my prescriptions online, so that’s really handy. But the web tool is a little bit clunky for my GP, so I think there’s room for improvement there.
Ten years ago, I probably used Amazon from time to time. But it’d be pretty rare. GP was all done over the phone, so I didn’t use any of the online services for GP. I’d heard of grocery shop delivery, but I hadn’t used it. Didn’t really have a good reason that I needed to use it at the time.
